Just wondering if you might know a thing or two about "awakening excessive hopes".... as in the failure of a revolution to create a society that lives up to its aspirations? Yet, there is something earnest and forthright in your addressing the impact of our President Elect on the eve of his inauguration: "Because even if he's an honest man -- and I believe he is -- a sincere man -- and I believe he is -- one man alone cannot change the destiny of a country and much less the United States..." So true! Let's just hope that your dire prediction that "the U.S. treatment of Cuba.... [will be] 50 years more of 'incessant struggle' with an 'enemy' that 'will never cease to be aggressive, treacherous and dominant" does not become a self fullfilling prophecy.
