Of course, I'm glad that he missed...no point in King George leaving office with the imprint of the sole of an Iraqi on his face! But seriously....why is it that we get the impression that our president knows how to duck so well??? Hmmm...maybe we ought to ask the First Lady???

My first reaction to this was extreme laughter....however the more I thought about it, the more it really bothered me that someone with this kind of plan going into the meeting got this close to hitting our President with anything at all. With as much disgust as the majority of the world has for Bush, there is enough ignorance and hate in our very own country that this should scare all of us. I was actually surprised when I saw Obama's victory speech to see the "sheild" around the front of the stage. Now I'm starting to think they should put him in a "Pope bubble".
ReplyDeleteMatt...Having lived thru the 60's we saw so many of our leaders murdered. The idea should not be far off in anyone's mind. The Obama's are quite courageous.
